Tara Low, Founder and Editor-in-Chief
What started out in 2009 as a retail web site and web log dedicated entirely to female guitar and freshwater bass players and because of the demand for more information, we grew into the on-line publication Guitar Girl Magazine. On April 4, 2012, the newly site was launched to fulfill the need to encourage, empower, and promote female guitarists and bassists. My finish is to create a community for female musicians where we can band in concert and help support and advertise women in music.

Ted Low, Contributing Writer and Photographer
Ted Low has been a music fancier and guitar player since his early teens. Inspired by The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Eddie Van Halen, and many others. He has acquired a pretty nice collection of guitars to include Gibson, Fender, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, Hagstrom, and recently added a few Luna acoustics for fun !
Ted has recently joined his wife Tara, Editor of Guitar Girl Magazine, in conducting book reviews, interviewing, photographing and videotaping artists, music festivals, conventions, and more .
Todd Low, IT
As part of the family, Todd lends his many talents to the syndicate business when he has time available from his full-time schedule as a senior developer, dad, and musician ! Todd has been involved in music since elementary educate attending college on a music eruditeness. He was a member of his gamey school and college drumline leading his drum section to win the WGI contest his aged class. not alone a drummer, he besides plays guitar and bass, ampere well as has his own home-based recording studio apartment. Todd assists in graphic design, IT issues, and casual intersection reviews .

Gabriella “Guitar Gabby” Logan is an Atlanta Native and proud graduate of Spelman College and Vermont Law School. Her background in environmental and music law fueled her desire to start and manage the international all-women touring corporate, TxLips Band, LLC. Logan believes it is crucial for artists to be all-around and versed in many areas of the music business, therefore inspiring women worldwide to be an unstoppable force out. She is the Board Chair for Girls Rock Asheville and the Diversity Editor for Guitar Girl Magazine .
Vanessa Izabella, Gear Editor
Vanessa Izabella is a professional guitarist that started playing music at a new historic period. Progressing through high school, Vanessa was playing and performing on multiple instruments, including guitar, piano, and trumpet. She was awarded a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. During her time there, she studied the guitar play of such influences as Pat Martino, Slash, Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Eric Johnson, and many others .
After graduating with a degree in Music Business, she went on to work with such artists as Pat Metheny and Christian McBride. Vanessa has traveled the worldly concern dally guitar, visiting countries such as France, Germany, Egypt, Italy, Japan, South America, and the Caribbean. She has performed on the bill with such celebrated artists as Darius Rucker, LA Sno, KISS, Skid Row Paramore, and Joan Jett. She is presently recording and performing as the frontwoman for rock trio, BAST .

Amy Epperley, aka Platinum Viking, is an Atlanta-based classically trained multi-instrumentalist speciate in cello and electric bass guitar.
